ABOUT ME
Pamela J. Davison, Designer and Glass Artist

I have been working with stained glass as a hobbyist since 2000 and over the years those who had been gifted some of my work, encouraged me to offer my glass pieces for sale. As I received more and more requests for my art, I decided to make it a business and in Spring 2021 Pieces of Light Stained Glass was started.

In the Spring of 2021, along with launching my business, I also began construction of my year-round studio, which is a large, beautiful space full of light that is exclusively used for my glass work.

Each commissioned piece is designed specifically for the individual client. Before any design work is started, I discuss the subject, the style, the colors & textures of glass, and the space in which the piece will be placed. I then do a rough draft of the piece for the client to see and make suggested changes or additions. When a design is agreed upon, a contract with price quote is issued. Once the contract is signed and returned with the appropriate down payment, the work begins.

All my pieces are done in the tiffany style using the copper foil with lead solder method. Each piece, from small sun catcher to large window, is a unique piece designed specifically for each client. These one-of-a-kind pieces are signed and will be loved and appreciated for many years.
I would love to hear your ideas and work with you to make it happen.

I am trying to incorporate recycled materials into my own designs. I have already included antique bevels and old chandelier crystals in a few pieces. I just received a bottle cutting tool for Christmas and I'm looking forward to trying that out and see how I can use bottles in new ways, too!

My living room window will be replaced as soon as weather in Western New York will allow and I am hoping to have time to work on a special transom or set of windows for that as well.

In the Spring of 2021, along with officially launching my business, I also began construction of my year-round studio, which is a large, beautiful space full of light that is exclusively used for my glass work. It's the perfect place to work - steps from my home, comfortable and open!
